About the assignment

You will spend time with a 15-year-old boy with autism, ADHD and cognitive impairment. He is curious and energetic, and thrives in a calm environment with clear boundaries.

Your task is to do activities together – it could be skateboarding, swimming, going to the cinema or a walk in the local area. The goal is to motivate him away from the screen and support him in being physically active in a way that gives him interest and ownership.

The boy has previously had difficult experiences with relationships and reacts in demanding situations. It is therefore important that you have a calm approach, can read his signals and create security through structure and acknowledgment.

About you

You are unskilled with relevant experience and have knowledge of children or young people with autism and ADHD. You can build trust, motivate and be an active participant in the boy's daily life.

The family lives close to Flintholm St., which provides easy access to swimming pools and outdoor activities.

Working hours

The position is up to 12 hours per month

The family would like you to come every Saturday, 2 hours at a time after lunchtime.

It may happen that the family wants some Mondays in the future.
