Are you a clinical neuropsychologist with an interest in neurorehabilitation?

Do you want to work with neurorehabilitation at the regional function level in a strong multidisciplinary team, you should apply for this position at Midt- and Vestsjællands Hospital, Center for Neurorehabilitation in Næstved (CNN).

You will work with assessment and guidance of patients and relatives together with the two other neuropsychologists at CNN. In the department overall we have seven neuropsychologist positions distributed across the neurological department and outpatient clinic in Slagelse and at the Center for Neurorehabilitation in Næstved.

Neuropsychologists have a close professional community across sites and joint external supervision by a specialist in neuropsychology.

You will

• Carry out neuropsychological assessments

• Participate in the interdisciplinary collaboration to assess rehabilitation needs and plan rehabilitation interventions
• Join a strong multidisciplinary team at CNN

We have a group of neuropsychologists where assessment and planning of interventions are central.

About Medicin 3

Medicin 3 and the Department of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy cover both geriatrics, neurology and neurorehabilitation at the regional function level as well as physiotherapy and occupational therapy across the hospital.

Center for Neurorehabilitation, Næstved

Center for Neurorehabilitation, in everyday language CNN, is located in Næstved and is Region Zealand's specialty department with a regional function for rehabilitation of adult patients with sequelae after brain injury caused by, among other things, accidents (trauma), brain bleed and stroke. There are 23 beds in total spread over two floors. All patients are assessed interdisciplinarily during hospitalization, which typically lasts 4-6 weeks. The neuropsychologist is here an important coordinator throughout the course.

Neurological Department, Slagelse

The Neurological Department is located in Slagelse with a ward for 20 stroke patients for phase 2 rehabilitation. These patients come early to rehabilitation after acute stroke – typically 2-3 days after stroke. Some of these patients continue their rehabilitation at CNN.

Neurological Outpatient Clinic covers the main areas within neurology at the main function level with, among others, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and brain cancer. The Memory Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic with neurologists, geriatricians and psychiatrists. Here the neuropsychologist is an important partner in the multidisciplinary approach to patients and relatives.

Starting salary for collective agreement employees

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the salary may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
