Neuropsychologist with experience with children and adolescents sought for Hammel Regional Hospital Neurocenter, Hospital Unit Midt

A position as a neuropsychologist with experience with children and adolescents, preferably at specialist level, is available to be filled from 1 February 2027 (or earlier).

The position is 30 hours per week.

The primary function will be at 24-hour rehabilitation, Hammel under Region hospital Hammel Neurocenter, where from 1 January 2027 rehabilitation at a specialized level is carried out.

You will primarily be attached to our children and youth area, where you participate in both inpatient rehabilitation pathways and day rehabilitation pathways at a specialized level.

In connection with the Health Reform, rehabilitation at a specialized level is transferred from the municipalities to the region as of 1 January 2027. This means that you become part of an organization in change – with the opportunity to make your professional mark and contribute to the development of specialized rehabilitation in collaboration with the affected citizens, relatives, employees and partners.

About the position

As a neuropsychologist

• you will conduct neuropsychological assessments of cognitive, emotional and behavioral sequelae
• you will have psychoeducational and supportive conversations with the citizen, relatives and network
• you will contribute your neuro-disciplinary knowledge to the interdisciplinary team around the citizen pathways
• you will collaborate closely with doctors, nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists
• you will have an advisory and supervisory role in the interdisciplinary team

About Inpatient Rehabilitation, Hammel

From 1 January 2027 there will be 10 inpatient rehabilitation places distributed between children and adults as well as an offer to citizens who live in their own homes. These citizens will alternately receive rehabilitation in Inpatient Rehabilitation, Hammel and in their own home.

We work with citizens after completed hospital stays, where the length of stay depends on the individual citizen's development potential.

We work targeted with individual rehabilitation plans at a specialized level and focus on supporting citizens to become active participants in their own everyday life at activity and participation levels, in close collaboration with relatives and networks.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field.

With reference to the Act on Child Attestations in connection with the employment of staff etc., a child certificate will be obtained in connection with potential employment.

Employment is with Region Midtjylland with service initially at Hospitalsenhed Midt, Regionshospital Hammel Neurocenter.

The position is in principle a full-time position.
