About Expedition at the Sygehusapotek Fyn

While some of our colleagues spend their days in the hospital departments, Expedition has our fixed base at the Sygehusapotek Fyn. With us you will thus become part of a close-knit team that knows each other well and always pulls together.

Our daily work is dynamic and varied with many different tasks and a broad contact surface to both internal and external partners.

As one of our colleagues goes on maternity leave, we are seeking a pharmaconomist for a one-year maternity cover. You will become part of a professionally skilled team where you will have the opportunity to influence the daily work.

You will receive a thorough onboarding and be assigned a mentor, so you become familiar with our workflows, processes and procedures.

What our daily work looks like

In Expedition we work with full rotation between tasks, and you actively contribute to ensuring the day’s puzzle fits together – both professionally and practically. When the tasks are allocated, you largely plan your day yourself and make independent professional decisions, while always having colleagues to spar with.

Therefore it is important that you see yourself as a team player with independent tasks.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • Handling and dispensing medicines to non-admitted patients (no-charge medicines and home treatment with intravenous antibiotics)
  • Telephone service to patients, relatives, doctors and nurses
  • Answering questions about medicines and medication management
  • Dispensing medicines to OUH, other hospitals and external customers
  • Close collaboration with the hospital pharmacy’s warehousing function and other functions
  • Carrying out logistical and administrative tasks

Your profile

At OUH we put the patient first. We therefore seek a trained pharmaconomist with strong collaborative and communication skills. You have the desire and ability to communicate with patients, relatives, doctors and nurses and a team-player mentality combined with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

It would be an advantage if you have experience from similar jobs or related tasks.
