We are looking for two new colleagues for predominantly evening shifts with some day shifts.

About the job and the tasks

A small nursing home with room for closeness and development. Øster Snede Nursing Home is a cozy nursing home with 23 residents and its own kitchen. Here we have the opportunity to get to know the residents well and notice the things that matter to each individual.

We want to create a daily life where the residents experience safety, closeness and respect for their wishes and routines. It is about both the necessary care and the small moments that make the day good.

We are different as people and employees, and we see that as a strength. We must use each other’s competencies, help each other, and have an open dialogue about the tasks and situations we meet in everyday life. At the same time, we want a workplace where there is room to learn new things, ask questions and develop – both professionally and personally.

We see the person – not only the task

For us, good care is about more than just completing today’s tasks. It is about meeting the residents with respect, listening to their wishes and giving space for them to live their lives on their own terms. We base our approach on each resident’s needs, resources and self-determination. Some days require an extra hand, other days require us to step back a little and give space.

We must be there for the residents – and we must be there for one another.

• Are educated as a social and health care helper, social and health care assistant, or have another relevant health profession education.
• Meet the residents with respect, care and interest in the individual person.
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Contribute to good collegiality, where we help each other and share our experiences.
• Are curious, want to learn new things and wish to develop in your work.

You do not need to know everything from the start. The most important is that you want to learn, bring your professional skills into play and contribute to the community.

Experience from the elder care sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment according to current collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and function pay.

The position is predominantly in a fixed evening shift with some day shifts. Weekends work every 2nd weekend.

We are looking for one or two employees, and the final hours will be agreed upon in connection with the employment. Possibility of full-time.

Start date is as soon as possible or no later than January 1, 2027.
