We are a new department at Rygårdcentret that opened on 1/9-2026. You will therefore have the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning in a new specialized dementia department, where you and your new colleagues help create a daily life characterized by calm, presence and professional quality. Your core tasks in the position

SSA

You work closely with your colleagues to create secure and predictable surroundings for residents with dementia, where relationship work is the focal point in your day. You provide professional care and nursing based on our residents' life stories and the individual person's resources because it is essential for how you meet and support them in everyday life.

As an SSA you will also handle health-related tasks in collaboration with the nurse.

You engage in close cooperation with your colleagues about care, documentation and interdisciplinary sparring, where you together develop practice and ensure that the residents receive a dignified and coherent everyday life.

Rammene at Poppellunden are close collaboration and a new department in development

Poppellunden is a specialized dementia department at Rygårdcentret in Hellerup, Niels Andersens Vej 22. The department has space for 22 residents. We started quietly with 10 residents on 1/9, after which we gradually expand toward full operation in March 2027. You will become part of a build-up where culture and professionalism are shaped together from the start.

The position is day shift, 32 hours, with every 3rd weekend, starting 1/11 or by agreement. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with applicable collective agreement and after negotiation with the relevant trade organization.

Rygårdcentret was built in 1980, expanded in 2010 and rebuilt in 2026.

Rygårdcentret has recently undergone a major renovation to create modern and up-to-date frameworks for future care homes.

Today, Rygårdcentret consists of 40 care home flats (Egelunden), 34 care home flats (Kastanjelunden) and the day home Blomsterlunden, which daily accommodates 40 residents.

As part of this development, Kastanjelunden was divided as of August 31, 2026 into three newly established care homes: Kastanjelunden, Birkelunden and Poppelunden , which consists of 20 care home flats (Kastanjelunden), 20 care home flats (Birkelunden) and 22 care home flats (Poppellunden).

So now, after the renovation, Rygårdcentret consists of a total of 102 flats.

Rygårdcentret has its own laundry, hairdresser, administration, podiatrist, a service department and a technical department. There are approximately 110 permanent staff members at Rygårdcentret.
