We are looking for a social- and health-care assistant for Group Home Bogense – Developmentally Disabled (BBU) . At our place nine adults live who need support, care and professionalism in daily life.

We are looking for someone who can both take responsibility for the health-care tasks and at the same time see the person behind the task.

Because yes – you will work with medicines, observations, documentation and health-care tasks. But you will also help with personal care, have a coffee, create structure, laugh with the residents and help make everyday life function.

• rehabilitation and development based on the resident’s resources
• health-care tasks – both the planned ones and those that suddenly arise

We hope you

• are educated social- and health-care assistant – preferably with experience from the special needs area
• have strong health-care competencies and a desire to use them
• can create overview and structure – even when the day does not go exactly as planned
• are curious and want to learn more about neuro-pedagogy
• can work with personal care and see it as an important part of the relationship with the resident
• are good at collaborating and sharing your professional knowledge with others
• take pride in good documentation
• have humor and contribute to a good working environment
• have a driver's license

You don’t need to know everything from day one. We provide a thorough introduction, on-call shifts and ongoing sparring. You also have the opportunity for a basic neuropedagogical course as well as team- and resident supervision.

We are pedagogues, SSAs, SSHs, nurses, occupational therapists and other good people, each bringing our professional background – and together we solve the core task.

And yes… we also have humor. We actually think it’s quite important.

Practical

The position is 30-37 hours per week with day and evening shifts as well as weekend work every 2nd or 3rd weekend.

Expected salary range will be provided at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after concrete negotiation with the professional organization.
