Do you want to lead the daily management of a day-care offering where professional leadership, strong learning environments and a systematic culture of reflection are the foundation for working with the children? Then you’ve landed on the right job advertisement. As a daily leader with us you will have a central role in ensuring the pedagogical quality and the daily operations of Cirklen.

You will work together with the day-care manager, resource/inclusion pedagogues with management functions, the team coordinator and the skilled staff to further develop a strong inclusive practice, where all children experience participation opportunities, well-being, development and learning.

You become the day-care manager's closest collaborative partner and you share the responsibility for pedagogical sparring with the staff as well as the implementation of municipal and local initiatives. In addition, you will actively participate in the collaboration with the day-care manager on the development, leadership and operation of the house. • Ensure high pedagogical quality in daily practice and lead and support employees' professional development
• Be close to practice and visible in everyday life
• Contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments and support a good working environment with high well-being and engagement
• Ensure implementation of municipal goals, strategies and policies
• Create strong collaborative relations with children, parents and partners

We envision a daily leader who

• Has strong pedagogical and leadership competences. We imagine that you are trained as an educator, but competences can also have been gained through other education, relevant experience or a combination thereof. The crucial aspect is your overall qualifications in relation to the tasks of the position.
• Has experience with or a desire to practice leadership in the day-care sector and who has a diploma in leadership or wishes to complete one
• Has strong relational competences and creates followers
• Can translate evidence-based and theoretical knowledge into pedagogical practice
• Is passionate about professional leadership and developing staff
• Can make well-founded decisions and maintain an overview
• Sees the value of cross-disciplinary collaboration and inclusion of staff through the MED system.

About us Børnehuset Cirklen is a 0-6 years day-care offering located centrally in Hvidovre. We are a diverse day-care with about 190 children distributed across three sections and around 45 engaged staff with different professional competencies and experiences.

Cirklen is a well-run day-care with a common strategic direction and high professional ambitions. Inclusion is a fundamental element in the pedagogical work, and we work purposefully with the development of high-quality learning environments. Reflection, knowledge sharing and joint professional development are a natural part of everyday life.

About Hvidovre Municipality The day-care area is part of the Center for Children and Families.

As a daily leader you will become part of a municipality with high ambitions in the 0-6 year area, where professional development, leadership community and cross-cutting collaboration are prioritized highly.

We collaborate closely with participation guides, PPR, Family Counseling and Health Visitor services to create the best possible conditions for children and families.

Salary and terms of employment Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

The position is desired to be filled by 1 January 2027.
