Assistant Team Leader sought for Velkomsthuset in forensic psychiatry at Sct. Hans Psychiatric Center

Then the position as Assistant Team Leader in Velkomsthuset might be something for you. You will become a central part of the management of Velkomsthuset and, together with the team leader, share responsibility for daily operations, the staff and development of the area.

Description of Velkomsthuset

Velkomsthuset is located in the forensic-psychiatric building Udsigten at the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans and serves as an access- and service function for patients, relatives, collaboration partners and other visitors.

Velkomsthuset's staff perform, among other things, security tasks, screening and access control. Velkomsthuset is organizationally anchored in Psykiatriens Vikarcenter and works closely with the clinical wards as well as a number of internal and external partners.

Your role as Assistant Team Leader in Velkomsthuset

As Assistant Team Leader you will be the team leader's closest sparring partner. Together you are responsible for daily management and the ongoing development of Velkomsthuset. You contribute to creating clear frameworks, ensuring coherence in task execution and supporting the staff in everyday life. When needed you actively participate in daily operations.

Your tasks will include, among others

• participation in management and coordination of staff in Velkomsthuset
• shift planning for the department
• handling of sickness absence in collaboration with the team leader
• faglig sparring for the employees and managerial sparring for the team leader
• participation in recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees
• ensuring that the staff know and follow applicable guidelines, instructions and laws as well as respecting patients' rights
• handling administrative tasks and ensuring good communication between Velkomsthuset, Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans and Psykiatriens Vikarcenter

Together with the team leader you also share the managerial responsibility on weekends, holiday periods and holidays.

Your competencies and experience

It is an advantage if you have leadership experience and can set the framework and direction for staff management. In addition, we value that you have:

• flair for safety and knowledge of screening of people
• experience from the security industry or knowledge of the health sector and psychiatric patients
• good IT skills (we use Office, Sundhedsplatformen and Optima)
• focus on good service and patient rights
• a listening and inclusive approach, a positive contribution to the work environment and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff and partners

Salary and employment terms

You are hired in a full-time position of 37 hours per week. Starting 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

In connection with the employment we ask you to present a criminal record.

You are employed according to the collective agreements for administrative and IT staff, etc. with salary placement as a specialist. During the employment you are covered by the current working hours rules agreed between the Regional Payroll and Tariff Board and HK Municipal.

Your daily workplace is the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans, Lindegårdsparken 1, 4000 Roskilde.
