About the job

Rehabilitation is more than training

Do you want to use your physiotherapeutic expertise where it makes the biggest difference?

At the Health and Care Places under the Limfjord Health Council we are looking for physiotherapists who want to work with rehabilitation, complex citizen pathways and interdisciplinary collaboration in the near-future health and care system.

We are seeking physiotherapists for the Health and Care Places in Aalborg (Anneshave), Jammerbugt, Mariagerfjord, Vesthimmerland, Rebild and Morsø Municipality. In your application, please indicate which unit or units you are applying for.

The Health and Care Places receive citizens with complex health and care needs who require observation, treatment, rehabilitation and coordination of their further pathways. The citizens are often in the transition between hospital, municipality and their own home, and it is precisely here that rehabilitation plays a decisive role.

As a physiotherapist you will become a central professional in assessing the citizen's functional ability, rehabilitation potential and possibilities for regaining or maintaining an independent life. You work with examination, mobilization, training and treatment, but your task does not end there.

At the Health and Care Places, rehabilitation is not something that happens one hour a day in a training room. Rehabilitation is an integrated part of the entire citizen's stay. Therefore you will become an important partner for nurses, social- and health-care assistants, social- and health-care helpers and other professional groups, so that rehabilitation is considered in all daily activities.

You will have an important role in

  • assessing functional ability and rehabilitation potential
  • planning and implementing targeted rehabilitation pathways
  • supporting mobility, movement and prevention of functional decline
  • contributing to interdisciplinary assessments and decisions
  • guiding colleagues in the rehabilitative approach
  • creating coherence between rehabilitation efforts and the citizen's further pathway

We work from Fundamentals of Care (FoC), where the citizen's needs, relationships and professional quality are seen as a whole. Therefore the physiotherapeutic intervention is an important part of the work to create meaningful and coherent pathways for the citizens.

You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary community where professional sparring, development and collaboration are prioritized highly. At the same time you will have the opportunity to help develop one of the largest new health offerings in the near future health care system.

We imagine that you

  • are a licensed physiotherapist and have an interest in rehabilitation and complex citizen pathways
  • work independently and take responsibility for your professional assessments
  • thrive in interdisciplinary collaborations
  • see opportunities rather than limitations
  • wish to actively contribute to the development of the future Health and Care Places

With us you get

  • an opportunity to make a noticeable difference for citizens' functional ability and quality of life
  • a central role in interdisciplinary rehabilitation pathways
  • professional autonomy and responsibility
  • strong interdisciplinary collaborations
  • an opportunity to influence the development of a new health offering
  • focus on learning, sparring and capability development
