About us

Vikingbanke elderly care center is a lovely home for the 30 residents. Distributed as follows: 24 somatic beds and 6 sheltered places.

Vikingbanke is an exciting workplace with about +35 employees, who are broadly represented professionally: social- and health-care helpers, social- and health-care assistants, pedagogues, unskilled workers, service assistant, schedule planner and nurses.

At Vikingbanke we work from a neuro-pedagogical approach, where we strive that each resident leads a dignified and meaningful life, which partly rests on self-determination and their own wishes. In line with this we place high value on social life and activities. This happens both in the individual departments, but also across the house. This takes place in collaboration with the staff and the volunteers, whom we are so fortunate to have attached to Vikingbanke.

• Are trained pedagogue, social- and health-care assistant or social- and health-care helper, or unskilled.
• Are good at building relationships and have good collaborative skills
• Are a team player, who shares professional knowledge and contributes to a good working environment
