Bryndum School seeks a custodian for 37 hours

Bryndum School in Esbjerg Municipality is seeking, as of January 1, 2027, a janitor who wishes to contribute to the school presenting itself as well maintained.

The position is for 37 hours per week.

Bryndum School is an ambitious school with about 440 pupils. You will, together with the other janitors at Bryndum School, be responsible for supervising the school's buildings, maintaining buildings and handling the technical installations.

We are looking for a janitor who has relevant education as well as experience and routine in the field. We place high value on the ability to engage in relationships with students and the school's staff, where trust, humor, patience, encouragement, professional and personal insight are keywords.

We are proud that Bryndum School presents itself as well-kept and inviting both outside and inside. Therefore we are seeking a janitor who takes pride in keeping buildings and outdoor areas in good condition and creating the best framework for the school's everyday life.

As a janitor at Bryndum School you will become an important part of the school's community and a visible employee in everyday life for both pupils and staff.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Maintenance of buildings
• Daily supervision of outdoor areas and playgrounds
• Supervision of contractors
• Small repairs
• Security rounds
• Assistance with snow clearing and salting
• Preparation of rooms for events
• Management of the school's CTS system

Salary and employment conditions are determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local pay formation.
