Then you might be the person we are looking for to be a Landsbypedel in Odsherred Municipality.

The Council of Odsherred has decided to establish a scheme with landsbypedeller in selected local communities. The landsbypedel scheme should primarily:

• ensure ongoing maintenance and beautification
• mobilize and motivate residents in local communities to participate in the development of their own area
• collaborate with the voluntary forces
• strengthen local safety

We are currently seeking a Landsbypedel who will cover Asnæs. The position is 12 hours. A Landsbypedel in Odsherred Municipality is expected to have both a range of practical and skilled trades competencies as well as relational and collaboration-promoting competencies. The Landsbypedel must be able to work mobilizing and involving together with the local residents, associations and actors. The Landsbypedel should have a focus on both operations and development, as well as on collaboration and dialogue.

Practical tasks may include

• Minor repairs and maintenance
• Beautification and maintenance of common areas
• Practical help for local initiatives and preparation for local events

Community support

• Participation in local coordination and dialogue with local council, neighborhood associations, etc.
• Mobilizing activities and supporting function to promote cooperation in the local community
• Collaboration with local volunteers, associations and actors

The establishment of a landsbypedel scheme is politically anchored in the Committee for Culture, Settlement, Leisure and Local Communities and administratively in the Culture and Leisure Department. Culture and Leisure works closely with departments in the Center for Business, Technology and Environment.

The Landsbypedel will be employed in Culture and Leisure, but with the workplace in the local communities. Thorough knowledge of Odsherred and a driver's license are therefore necessary. The appointment is initially scheduled for 31 December 2027 with the possibility of extension. The weekly number of hours is 37 hours with flexible working hours. Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
