AMBIZZION is seeking for HANSEN Engineers + Architects an engaged and commercially strong Chief Commercial Officer/Business Manager for Aarhus.

HANSEN – Engineers + Architects works for a wide range of long-standing customers across Denmark and today has

offices in Viborg and Aarhus, where 13 employees cover both engineering, structural and architectural competencies.

HANSEN today delivers consultancy and design for both simple and complex constructions – from single-family houses and townhouse developments to larger commercial buildings and projects in construction classes 2–4 (KK2+).

HANSEN has in recent years established itself as a competent, agile and quality-driven partner, where professionalism, trust and relationships are valued as highly as the technical result.

The company has experienced significant growth, and now the organization must be lifted to the next level with a strengthened focus on the business arm for the more complex projects.

The position

As Chief Commercial Officer you will have a central role in the development of the Aarhus department.

You will be the link between market, customers, projects and management – and you will have a central role in both operations, growth and strategic development.

You will have influence, freedom and responsibility from day one, and you will be part of an environment where decisions are made quickly and where ambitions are high.

Your tasks

• Set the direction for the department's professional and commercial development.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in collaboration with management
• Ensure high quality in projects, efficient project management and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Drive growth, market development and sales activities
• Daily leader for leaders and key person in Aarhus
• Actively contribute to the company's overall strategy and management development

About you

You probably have a background as a structural engineer or similar, and come from a consulting engineering company, contractor or similar environment where you have been responsible for projects in KK2–4.

You are open, extroverted and strong in communication – a natural leader who thrives in the role of a gathering point – both professionally, commercially and personally.
