The job

Erhverv og Bolig Byg A/S is seeking a construction manager for Vejle to manage the construction processes on the site. You will be an important part of a strong team, and when the construction is handed over, you can look forward to new exciting projects.

Short description of the project

This concerns a larger housing project of approx. DKK 100 million. As a construction manager you can look forward to taking independent responsibility in close collaboration with an experienced project manager and the other people on the project. Your daily routine will take place on the construction site to ensure ongoing management and follow-up on activities.

Your tasks will include

• Planning and initiation of the individual trade contracts as well as ongoing task management
• Holding construction meetings, inspections, etc.
• Ongoing dialogue with suppliers about material deliveries
• Follow-up on schedules and revision as needed
• Safety and occupational health
• Participation as a proactive team player in delivering the project on time and in the agreed quality

You must therefore be comfortable taking responsibility, but from day one you will come under the wings of an engaged project management, which will support you in solving tasks as well as in your personal and professional development.

Qualifications

You have experience with contracting and construction management and can document that you have independently and successfully managed contracts, in terms of time, cost and quality. The ideal candidate has a theoretical education such as building constructor, building engineer or building technician, preferably combined with a background as a craftsman.

You have a high work capacity and, not least, work ethic, and your leadership style reflects assertiveness, overview and commitment. In addition, you have a positive approach to your task solving, and it is natural for you to lead from the front and ”raise the bar” for the whole team.

Erwin Andersen A/S is hiring for Erhverv og Bolig Byg A/S , which is an East Jutland contractor with experienced forces from the construction industry at the helm. The company works as main and turnkey contractor across the country. Core areas are commercial buildings, larger residential buildings, and retail stores, where they offer to handle all aspects of a construction task – from the project's idea and maturation phase to bids and the actual construction.

Erhverv og Bolig Byg's office is located in Randers, employing 18 staff. It is a smaller organization with highly skilled project management, which enables the company to be sharp on price, collaboration and quality. Erhverv og Bolig Byg has the necessary capital and guarantee frameworks to bid on both smaller and larger contracts.
