We need another skilled and caring teacher with Danish as a major subject for our middle years at the Søhøj department. If you are also proficient in science/tech, that is an advantage.

In our middle years you will join a professional learning community consisting of teachers and pedagogues who collectively work to ensure that the students thrive and become as skilled as they can.

We are looking for you , who have Danish as a major subject, and who are motivated to make Danish teaching fun, lively, concrete and meaningful for the students. You see teamwork as a strength and are keen to engage in a close and professional collaboration with colleagues, where we together plan, evaluate and develop the teaching with the students' well-being and learning at the center. You will become part of a team that prioritizes community, professional sparring and a curious approach to teaching and pedagogy.

We are organized in self-managed teams, which collectively take on both the teaching task and all other tasks related to the teaching task. For us that means we are "together about the task" .

We prioritize pedagogical discussion and have good opportunities for sparring with our strong mentor corps, which also facilitates exciting and educational activities in the classrooms.

We are part of Ølstykke School, which consists of two departments: Maglehøj with about 480 pupils and Søhøj with about 560 pupils.

Working conditions: We have in Egedal Municipality a local agreement that ensures good time for preparation. The time for individual preparation is placed within normal working hours, and teachers can relocate this time to other places than the school. There is a fixed meeting day on Tuesdays until 16:00, and the remaining working time can be flexible.
