Center Manager for Veum Bo and Bakkehuset

Do you want to lead two well-run residential offers and set the direction for their continued development?

We are looking for a clear and trust-building center manager with experience from a similar leadership position, who can ensure a well-functioning everyday life and at the same time think innovatively. We are looking for a leader who can build on the good foundation that already exists. Our upcoming leader can create a clear direction and translate new opportunities into solutions that benefit both citizens and staff.

Veum Bo and Bakkehuset are two residential facilities for adults with physical and mental disabilities, where we, with a recovery-oriented and rehabilitative approach, work to strengthen citizens' wellbeing, self-determination and opportunities to master their own lives.

You will have overall responsibility for the daily operations, staff management, finances and professional development at both facilities. In close collaboration with staff and professional resource persons you must ensure quality, wellbeing and coherence in task execution.

We expect that you have relevant experience and understanding of the connection between professionalism, staff leadership, operations and finance. Your leadership experience does not need to be long-standing, but you must be ready to take responsibility for the whole. We also value a curious and innovative approach, where you dare to challenge the familiar and bring new perspectives into play.

We imagine that you

• have experience with personnel management and responsibility for daily operations in a similar organization.
• are clear, trust-building and present, and able to create followership.
• can prioritise, maintain an overview and make well-founded decisions in a complex everyday life.
• have an understanding of the link between professional quality, working environment, finance and resources.
• can create good conditions for collaboration with professional resource persons and ensure clarity about roles and responsibilities.

We also hope that you are curious, innovative and dare to challenge the familiar. You don't need to have all the answers upfront, but you should be willing to ask questions, explore new opportunities and find solutions that create value for the citizens and the organization.

If you have experiences from other areas or professional perspectives that can contribute positively to our organization, we see it as a plus. We are focused on developing ourselves and believe that new perspectives can help create better solutions.
