About the job

We are seeking an operations manager who can create direction, professional quality and coherence – and who believes that the best results are achieved together with the staff.

In the Adult Social Area in Furesø Municipality, we are undergoing an organizational development to strengthen our rehabilitative and recovery-oriented efforts for adult citizens.

We are therefore looking for an operations manager for our social-pedagogical citizen support, where we work with citizens with different support needs, including among others psychiatry and disability.

You will be the leader for experienced staff with strong specialized competencies and will have a central role in creating coherence, quality and a shared professional direction across the efforts.

Strong professional areas – a common direction

Our ambition is that the citizen's own goals, resources and possibilities for progression should be the starting point for the effort.

We therefore work with recovery-oriented rehabilitation and with developing more flexible and coherent citizen support.

As operations manager, you will ensure that we build on the strong professional environments we already have, while at the same time developing collaboration across the services.

Working more closely together does not mean that everyone should solve the same tasks.

We want to preserve and develop the specialized professionalism while using our collective competencies as effectively as possible for the citizen.

You will play a key role in creating a shared direction, ensuring quality and supporting a culture where employees collaborate on the citizen's overall journey.

Leadership close to staff and citizens

As operations manager you will be responsible for daily personnel management, professional quality, resource use and operations.

You must create clear frameworks, support staff's professional development and ensure systematic documentation, follow-up and progression.

We want a leader who is visible and accessible, and who can combine clear leadership with dialogue and involvement.

You must be able to make decisions and set priorities, but at the same time have a sense that durable solutions are developed together with the staff who know the citizens and daily practice.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • have a relevant social-work background and experience in personnel management
  • have insight into social-pedagogical support and preferably experience from psychiatry or disability areas
  • can lead staff with different professional specialties
  • have experience with or an interest in recovery and rehabilitation
  • work systematically with quality, documentation and progression
  • can create structure and ensure stable and financially responsible operations
  • can develop collaboration across professional disciplines and organizational boundaries
  • are clear, engaging and good at creating buy-in.

We attach importance to you being able to safeguard the existing professionalism while also being curious about how we can develop our efforts.

You will become part of a shared leadership responsibility

You report to the department head and become part of a leadership group with three daily leaders.

Here you will contribute to the development of the whole department and work closely with the other leaders on coherent citizen pathways, professional quality and shared priorities.

We offer a leadership position with great opportunity to influence the development of citizen support and create good frameworks for both staff and citizens.

We want to create efforts that make a real difference for citizens' possibilities for independence, development and participation in communities – and we believe that the best results are achieved together.
