Your educational background is not decisive for whether you are the right person for the job - it is your desire to work pedagogically and your commitment to children's well-being and development that matter.

And it is important that you are willing to make your home available for four children, where the family has chosen the close and safe relationship and care option that gives each child a sense of being something special.

About Silkeborg Municipal Daycare

The group of day care providers in Silkeborg south and city centre consists of 6 day care providers.

Silkeborg Municipal Daycare currently employs 150 day care providers, 8 pedagogical leaders and administrative staff. We care for approximately 550 children.

• Have the will and ability to collaborate with many different family constellations, values and cultures
• Enter into close collaboration with colleagues and other partners
• Actively participate in full-day playrooms and contribute to quality
• Are open to learning and further training
• Collaborate closely with the organization, where guidance and support from the pedagogical leader is central

We prefer that your home is allergen-free.

Salary and working hours

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and the local pay formation agreement. In addition, 60% of the salary is tax-deductible excluding labour market contribution, to cover day care costs. (see the Tax Authority website)

If you are a pedagogical assistant or a pedagogue, it triggers a further six pay grades.

The position is 48 hours per week, and the hours can fall in the time window from 06.00 – 17.00.

How exactly your working hours look depends on the care needs of your specific child group.
