Club Assistant for the Junior Club

We are seeking an engaged and relationship-focused club staff for our junior club. With us you get the opportunity to help create a safe, fun and developmental leisure time where the children are seen, heard and have the opportunity to be part of the community.

About the job

As a club staff in the junior club you will be an important adult in the children's leisure life. You will help create activities and frames where children can unfold themselves, make new friends and develop their social skills.

Your tasks will include

• To be present and create good relationships with the children
• To initiate and participate in activities, games and creative projects
• To support a positive and inclusive community
• To help plan and carry out events and trips
• To support the children in conflict management and social relationships
• To be a clear and safe adult whom the children can go to
• To contribute to the daily operation and practical tasks in the club
• To work closely with the club's other employees

We are looking for someone who

• Wants to work with children in the junior club's target group
• Is good at making contact and building trusting relationships
• Is caring, clear and present
• Has energy and the desire to actively participate in the children's activities
• Can take initiatives and at the same time be good at following the children's ideas
• Can stay calm and create overview in a busy everyday
• Is a good colleague and contributes positively to the work community
• Preferably has experience from clubs, school, leisure offerings or similar – but not a requirement

Salary and employment terms

Workplace: Middelfart Youth School

Hours: 19 hours

Start date: 1 November

Salary placement is done according to the agreement for pedagogues in day care institutions, after-school programs, clubs etc., our pre-agreements and possible individual allowances based on special competences, knowledge or experience.

The position's salary range as an untrained will be from 13,665.54 DKK up to 14,101.94 DKK, depending on the candidate's seniority, further education and personal competences.

Salary range is monthly salary excluding pension.
