Part-time employees for 16-20 hours per week in one of our youth cafés - Ung i Gladsaxe!

Are you up for working in a development-oriented pedagogical environment, in collaboration with many different professional groups, we have the position for you.

Ung i Gladsaxe works from a community-building and participation-oriented pedagogy, where the focus is to create dynamic youth environments, that based on youths' interests and needs provide safe surroundings and motivate active participation, engagement and responsibility.

It is our ambition to be visible resource persons for young people where they are – not only in the five existing youth cafes, but also in the local area and the city's spaces.

Ung i Gladsaxe is a bridge-builder between young people and primary school, youth education, municipal supporting initiatives, association and cultural life, as well as private actors' offerings.

You should have the desire and courage to

• Initiate activities together with the young people, sport, creative activities or other, for the target group.
• To seize the youths' ideas and develop new things together with young people
• to work two evenings per week until 10 PM.
• to have a Saturday- or Sunday shift about every 4 weeks

We expect that you

• Can initiate and facilitate activities with the young people.
• understand how to work participation-oriented and to be an engaging adult for young people.
• are interested in cross-disciplinary, pedagogical work.
• are able to engage in collaboration with external partners
• master relationship-building with young people.
• can keep up morale and create the right conditions for youths' well-being, learning and engagement.
