About the job

When the school day ends, another part of the children's day begins. In Holmen there must be room to be yourself, be with others, immerse yourself, be creative, play, laugh and try something new. It requires adults who want to join in – adults who see the children, take their ideas seriously and have energy and commitment to create something together with them.

We are looking for you who have high motivation, lots of initiative and a genuine desire to make a difference for children. You who don’t just want to be at work, but who want to be an important adult in the children’s leisure life and contribute to them experiencing community, development and joy.

ABOUT THE JOB

SFO2 Klub Holmen is a leisure offer for children from 3rd-6th grade at Holmeagerskolen in Greve. We share many facilities with the school, but also have our own space where many of our activities and communities take shape.

As an employee in Holmen you will become part of a team, where we together strive to create an attractive and inspiring leisure-time offering with a starting point in the children's needs, interests and ideas. Our value base is built on community, curiosity and resilience, and we place great emphasis on children experiencing Holmen as a place where they want to be, develop and be part of the community.

We are especially looking for a colleague with a creative profile. Someone who wants to actively use their own interests, ideas and creative competences in the work with the children and help develop Holmen’s activities and offerings.

Perhaps you love drawing, painting, building, designing, working with different materials or creating things with your hands. Perhaps you have experience with creative projects, workshop activities, upcycling, construction or something else. It could also be that you have a very special creative interest that you want to share with the children.

In Holmen there must also be room for both presence, immersion, play and shared experiences. The good relationship is the foundation of our educational work, and we believe children thrive and develop when they meet adults who are present, clear and genuinely interested in them.

You must therefore be an active part of the children’s afternoon – not only the adult who starts activities, but the adult who participates, plays, creates, inspires and seeks out the children.

Holmen’s opening hours vary slightly, but are typically 12:45-17:30 (Friday until 16:30). In addition, evening work is expected about once every two weeks in connection with club evenings and various themed parties.

You will also have hours in the school section in cooperation with colleagues from SFO2 and the school.

ABOUT YOU

We imagine that you

  • have the desire and motivation to work with children and genuinely want to make a difference
  • are passionate about creating good and trusting relationships with children
  • have a clear creative profile and want to bring your own interests, ideas and competences into play
  • get energy from creating, developing and starting new activities
  • can inspire the children to be curious, creative and investigative themselves
  • want to develop and implement activities and courses for both smaller and larger groups of children
  • are an adult who actively participates and not just stands on the sidelines
  • are good at seeing the individual child and meeting the children where they are
  • thrive in a dynamic environment where days do not always go as planned
  • can take responsibility and at the same time engage constructively in close collaboration with your colleagues
  • are a clear, present and positive adult with a smile on your lips
  • can motivate and inspire both children and colleagues
  • have initiative and are not afraid to take the lead
  • are professionally curious and want to develop the after-school pedagogical work.

The most important thing is that you want to be part of it. We are looking for a colleague who dares to contribute themselves, their ideas and their creativity, and who at the same time has an eye for the individual and for the communities the children are part of.
