Cluster Officer sought for CenSec – Center for Defence, Space & Security

Do you want to work on strengthening growth, innovation and internationalization within the Danish defence sector? And to contribute to developing Denmark's national innovation and business cluster for actors within defence, space and security?

About the position

CenSec's mission is to be the driving force behind a strong Danish SME ecosystem that shapes future solutions within defence, security and space – and as an employee at CenSec you will play an important role here.

You will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning and delivering various cluster activities such as networking meetings, workshops, conferences, delegation visits, matchmaking events, etc. You also have the task of developing and running various cluster initiatives.

The cluster activities shall help CenSec's members gain new knowledge, create cross-sector collaboration and increase members' commercial development. The activities have both national and international focus.

Part of the work is carried out within externally funded projects, where you will be responsible for the deliverables therein.

In addition to the work with the cluster activities, you will be tasked with recruiting new members, acting as the contact person for member companies and participating in several of the cluster's internal development tasks and processes.

The work with developing the cluster also includes a significant amount of administration, tasks related to dissemination and communication, and collaboration with other actors in the defense industrial ecosystem at both national and European levels.

Your profile

There can be many entry points to this position. Most importantly, you are a “doer” who has the willingness and ability to translate input and knowledge into concrete value for our members and partners.

We expect a high degree of independence and professionalism, and that you can bear the responsibility and mandate that comes with being employed in the national cluster organization for the defence industry. At the same time we expect a high degree of team spirit and that you can collaborate closely with your colleagues.

In addition you are extroverted, communicatively strong, adaptable, flexible and speak and write English at a high level.

The position particularly targets those who are newly graduated or have a couple of years of work experience. We value potential and commitment higher than a long CV, and we provide thorough onboarding – and expect you to take responsibility and initiative to get the tasks done.

We offer a flexible working week with two on-site days per week at our office in Viborg and remote work on the remaining weekdays. It is not possible to be considered for the position if you cannot physically attend in Viborg two days a week.

Working hours and salary, etc.

Working hours are 37 hours per week on salaried terms.

In connection with cluster activities domestically and internationally there will be some travel, which is always agreed in advance and with ample notice.

Salary according to qualifications and ability to create value for CenSec.
