About the job
Lindelunden is not only seeking a department head who can participate in ensuring operations and quality.
We are looking for a leader who, together with us, can build on a culture where influence and responsibility co-create the house's future together with the residents.
A culture where leadership is not primarily about having all the answers, but about co-creating the conditions that make it possible to succeed as a human being - both as an employee and a resident.
We believe the conditions are psychological safety and an environment where competences can unfold and where mistakes are seen as part of learning. We focus on how well-being, influence and responsibility create better professional quality - and ultimately a higher quality of life for both residents and staff.
The Lindelunden care facility
Lindelunden's professional foundation is a rehabilitative and recovery-oriented approach, where respect and dignity are two major central guiding stars in daily cross-disciplinary collaboration.
In your daily collaboration you will meet 48 residents aged 30-85, each with their own apartment under § 105(2) as well as §§ 83 and 85 spread over 4 floors.
The residents are challenged by social and psychological vulnerability, often combined with somatic challenges and dual diagnoses.
Lindelunden is organized on the building's four floors with an interdisciplinary team attached to each floor. But in daily life we work together across the whole house and help each other where needed. We actively work with residents' perceived quality of life through individual influence and meaning in everyday life – the latter for both residents and staff.
More about you as a leader
It is not crucial whether you have a lot or little experience, but more your approach to leadership. Lindelunden seeks a leader who will work for the shared strength both in management as well as among staff and residents. A leader who has the courage to withhold their own answers to promote others' learning and development. In addition:
- You see leadership as something created in relationships and communities
- Is focused on creating clear direction while also creating inclusivity
- Has an eye for both operations, well-being and development
- Finds energy in supporting employees' initiatives and ideas
- Aims to co-develop organizational capacity rather than dependence on individuals
Which staff group will you lead
You will lead an interdisciplinary staff group where over half of the group has joined within the last two and a half years. We work with a high degree of staff involvement and there have been many positive changes at Lindelunden both professionally and in the working environment as a result.
It is a staff group you will be most successful with if you understand to be curious, inclusive and clear regarding direction and framework while also giving space for solutions to be developed collaboratively.
The task more concretely
A selection of your tasks will be
- Contribute to maintaining and developing the facility's structure for the benefit of the resident-focused effort.
- Responsible for the meeting schedule including ensuring that working hours rules, collective agreements, vacation planning, recording of changes, etc., are carried out in accordance with applicable rules.
- Actively co-responsible for ensuring a healthy and positive work environment and high well-being among staff.
- Contribute to developing task solutions in the care facility in line with the strategy for the facility and the area.
- Ensure that the professional efforts regarding the Service Act and Health Act are conducted at a high professional standard and are documented correctly and in efficient processes.
- In collaboration with the service manager manage sickness absence in accordance with current sickness absence policy, as well as conducting sickness absence meetings and other employee conversations.
- Ensure that performance development interviews (MUS) are conducted.
- Ensure professional development of the care facility and that agreed direction and goals are followed.
- Assist recruitment of new staff and ensure good reception and onboarding.
- Keep oneself continuously informed about policies and developments in Roskilde Municipality, among others via Intra, MED minutes, etc.
You will be most successful with us if
- You are motivated to develop solutions together with others
- You are secure in the leadership role and see learning as part of the task
- Your approach to good leadership ultimately is about making the organization stronger through structure and frameworks and less dependent on people.
- Your basic education is within the health field and preferably with experience with vulnerable citizens and a rehabilitative and recovery-oriented approach.
Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement. A criminal record check and references will be obtained before employment.
