Responsibility and opportunity to set the direction

As director you will have the overall commercial and operational responsibility for the business. You will translate the existing strategy into concrete results, create momentum in the market and continuously develop the commercial effort in step with the experiences the company gains.

In the first part of the journey you will be an active part of the execution yourself. You will be close to customers, help qualify the sales process and stand strong in meetings with seasoned decision-makers. The solution targets a professionally strong audience with high expectations for quality and precision, which requires your professionalism, your eye for detail and your ability to maintain quality as the business scales. At the same time you must be able to create credibility, communicate complex solutions simply and drive a sales process forward.

Therefore this is not a classic director role where you set the direction from afar alone. You must be able to move naturally between strategy and operational execution and be willing to roll up your sleeves yourself when that is what it takes to create momentum.

As the business grows, you will take responsibility for developing the organization around you. You will recruit the right competences, assemble a strong team and create the framework for the business to scale efficiently.

You report directly to the board and will have significant operational freedom to shape the further development.

Commercial profile with impact

We are seeking a strong commercial profile with experience in sales, business development and operational responsibility. You have ideally been part of a startup, scaleup or another growth journey and know what it takes to create momentum in an organization under development. You have experience with complex B2B sales, stand strong in front of experienced decision-makers and can translate strategy into concrete action. At the same time you have leadership skills and the ability to bring people together around a common direction and ambition.

Your educational background and industry experience are not decisive. The most important is that you can document commercial results, take natural ownership and have the ambition to leave a clear mark on the business. Experience with SaaS, software or other tech-based business models is an advantage, just as an interest in AI and technology will fit naturally into the environment.

As a person you are persuasive, persistent and direct in your communication. Quality consciousness and professionalism are a natural part of your approach, and you understand that high speed and big ambitions must go hand in hand with thoroughness and precision.

You thrive in high tempo, short decision paths and a reality where not everything is carved in stone. There is a clear direction for the business, but the market’s response helps shape the path to it, and you must therefore be comfortable making decisions, learning quickly and adjusting course when new knowledge calls for it.

You are motivated by moving something, creating tangible results and taking a large responsibility for the continued growth journey and strategy.
