Do you have an eye for detail and thrive in dialogue with people? Then you may be our new mealtime attendant in the Unit for Food and Drink.

We believe that good food starts with good ingredients. Therefore, we choose ingredients with care, treat them with respect, and use our expertise to transform them into tasty meals.

The food must be recognizable, appetising and nutritionally correct – and at the same time reflect our ambitions for quality, craft and responsibility. To reach our goal, we need mealtime attendants who can help put the final touch on the food through serving and dialogue with the patients.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Plating, heating and serving meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Dialogue with patients and relatives in connection with serving
• Self-check in ward kitchens
• Collaboration with nursing staff on patients' needs
• Light kitchen and cleaning tasks in the patient kitchen

Terms of employment

The position is between 33-37 hours per week, with start as soon as possible or no later than December 1.

Working hours will be in the period 06:30-19:00, with weekend duty every 4th weekend.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the collective agreement for Non-management staff in the region Health Cartel area.

Who are we

The Unit for Food and Drink (UFD) is part of the Rigshospitalet service centre.

UFD has about 280 employees in total distributed over 2 sites: Rigshospitalet Blegdamsvej and Rigshospitalet Glostrup. Our workforce ranges widely – from trainees, nutrition assistants, butchers, bakers, chefs, hospital helpers to administrative staff.
