As our colleague retires, we can now offer a position as Continence Nurse.

Do you want to make a difference for citizens with incontinence? Are you an experienced and committed nurse with an interest in the continence field and would you like to help improve quality of life and make a difference for the citizens, then this job might be something for you!

Our team consists of 17 Assistive Device Handlers distributed among 12 physiotherapists/occupational therapists, 3 administrative caseworkers, 1 Department Head and 2 continence nurses, of whom you could be one.

We offer a full-time position that is not on-call. You will receive thorough training and introduction to the area. You will be employed in a team with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, a good working environment and the possibility of working from home 1 day a week, if the tasks allow it.

Primary tasks

The continence nurse's primary tasks are to coordinate care paths for citizens who contact us with issues within the incontinence area (pads/diapers, catheters and stoma).

To perform clinical assessment and advice with the citizen in their own home or via telephone contact. Authority tasks under the Service Act § 112 fill daily life as well as guidance to citizens and relatives. Furthermore you shall teach colleagues, continence instructors and participate in collaboration with a view to quality development. Through multidisciplinary collaboration with Home Care, Nursing and other colleagues you help create a holistic process that makes a real difference for the citizens.

We expect

That you are a trained nurse with experience or interest in the incontinence area. It would be an advantage if you have training as a continence nurse, but not a requirement. You should have good communication and guidance skills and be able to work independently and cross-functionally. You should have knowledge of treatment options and relevant aids. It is expected that you are structured, flexible, can create overview and prioritize tasks.

It is a requirement that you have a driving license.
