The most important thing, however, is your previous experience with operating, structuring and setting the strategic direction for complex infrastructure systems, including user and data environments.

You have leadership experience and are as a person

  • Decisive and action-oriented
  • Clear in your communication
  • Empathetic and listening
  • Trustworthy
  • Good at delegating

As an employee under the Defence Ministry’s area you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the clearance during the entire employment.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country, including units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacekeeping and humanitarian and other similar operations.

About the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization

The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (FMI) is Denmark’s central authority for the armed forces’ and civil emergency materiel, IT and cybersecurity in peace, crisis and war. We work to ensure that the entire Defence is equipped, updated and operational — in a time when the demands for speed and combat power have never been greater. It is us who procure, operate and dispose of materiel and IT for the Army, Navy, Air Force and the rest of the Defence Ministry’s organization.

It is our IT staff who daily help prevent the cyber-attacks the organization is exposed to. We are a diverse organization with about 2,500 employees — civil and military — distributed across the entire kingdom.
