We are seeking a skilled and engaged pedagogue for a maternity temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment at Frederiksværk Børnehus.

We are passionate about giving our wonderful children a safe, present and development-oriented daily life, where there is room for play, immersion, curiosity and community.

About us

You will become part of a large children’s house with about 120 children and about 35 colleagues. We have a high professional level and value a good working environment where we help each other and learn together.

We offer good opportunities for courses and professional development, and we nurture a professional environment with room for ongoing reflection and dialogue about our pedagogical practice.

You will be assigned to a group with about 22 kindergarten children and two full-time colleagues. At the same time you are part of our kindergarten teams, where we collaborate across rooms. We also have a close collaboration with the nursery and prioritise a good transition process so that the children experience coherence and security when moving from the nursery to kindergarten.

We are seeking a pedagogue who

• Meets the children with presence, care and respect
• Is curious about the children’s perspectives and interests
• Can create safe environments and good relationships
• Wants to play, delve into things and be exploratory together with the children
• Is reflective and curious about own and joint pedagogical practice
• Can take responsibility and actively contribute to the room’s and the children’s house community
• Sees collaboration with colleagues and parents as an important part of the pedagogical work.
• And not least; wants to explore the children’s universe together with them.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement. Basic salary for the lowest basic pay grade is 31,446 DKK/month excl. pension. In addition, qualification and job allowances can be agreed.
