Dynamic and development-oriented colleague for a newly created combined position in our LY/Fleks team

Do you have experience working with citizens on unemployment benefit, and can you early in the meeting with the citizen establish contact with relevant businesses and functions in the local area, so you could be our next colleague on the team? You will work with the early intervention and with both case management and business contact.

About the job

Citizens must be retained in the labor market and flexible jobs are among the central tools in employment efforts. Those assigned flexible jobs must, with a reduced work capacity, be actively job-seeking and proactive in job searching. We want to strengthen the focus on this.

We know that the early intervention in the citizen's unemployment and thus the contact to relevant companies is an important part of the task of helping the citizen back to or into the labor market. This is what Ringsted Municipality has decided to strengthen with this newly created position.

Central in the work with flex-job assignments is to support citizens with reduced work capacity to see opportunities in their job search. We already have a close collaboration between citizen, company consultant and caseworker – this requires humane knowledge, insight into retention tools, and not least the belief that there is room for all of us.

In Ringsted we work according to LØFT (a Danish approach). We work with citizen motivation and involve the citizen in the solutions and in shared responsibility for their own life. Our starting point in collaboration with the citizen will always take its basis in the citizen's current situation. Prefer progression to perfection.

Your tasks

• Responsible for own case load
• Holding job-oriented interviews with the preparation of Min Plan – we use Schultz Fasit
• Systematic collaboration with citizens around their CV and JobLog
• Proactive business contact and collaboration with companies in industries and companies with functions that match our citizens on unemployment benefit
• Initiate active efforts for citizens on unemployment benefit with a view to flex-job employment
• Follow up on hires and internships, so both company and citizen are supported at the start of the collaboration – this helps to sustain the good collaboration
• Serve citizens without benefits with advice and guidance to retention in the labor market, including clarification of cases about Senior Pension and Education Allowance
• Collaboration with Clinical Function, Health Coordinator, and several partners internally and externally around the citizens

Who are you

• You likely have an educational background as social facilitator or social worker with knowledge of the employment area. You have probably also worked toward companies and know about establishing flex jobs, accommodation needs, calculation of standard wage etc., so you can advise companies
• You have experience with case handling within the labor market area - it is an advantage if you have knowledge of working with unemployment benefit and are up to date with legislation on the target group
• You have a “nose” for the lifeworld and thinking of companies – you can spot opportunities to employ citizens in a few hours in the flex job
• You are robust, have a good overview and work in a structured and independent way towards agreements and deadlines. You see the whole and can manage ongoing planning and coordination
• You know your professional foundation and use the resource overview in collaboration with the citizen
• You are a team player and flexible in a daily life characterized by development and professional ambitions
• You have humor and are good at creating contact with both citizens and colleagues and partners
