About the job

Would you like to use your pedagogical expertise to create strong communities, participation opportunities and good experiences for children both at school and in their leisure time?

At Fællesskolen Nustrup Sommersted you get a varied day in a green rural school, where relationships, outdoor life and close cooperation between school and SFO are a natural part of everyday life.

The position averages 25 hours per week with about 16 hours in the SFO and nine hours in the school. We wish to have the position filled no later than 1 December 2026.

A coherent life for children

The school has pupils from year 0-6, and the SFO has children from year 0-3. We work to create a coherent day where school and SFO complement each other, and where all children feel they belong.

In the school you will be part of our age-integrated learning environments and cooperate with teachers to create good participation opportunities for all children. In the SFO you help plan and implement both free and adult-initiated activities indoors and outdoors.

Your tasks

You shall among other things

  • actively participate in teaching together with teachers and other colleagues
  • support children's academic, social and personal participation
  • plan and carry out activities in the SFO
  • use nature and the outdoor space in play, learning and movement
  • create activities such as campfires, hut-building, creative projects and movement
  • contribute to the coherence between the child’s school and SFO day
  • collaborate openly and respectfully with the parents
  • actively participate in the professional and collegial collaboration.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are a trained pedagogical professional and would like to work in both school and SFO.

We especially emphasize that you

  • have strong relational competences
  • are focused on children's well-being, development and participation in communities
  • can take initiative and create activities together with children and colleagues
  • are motivated to actively use nature in pedagogical work
  • meet children, parents and colleagues with curiosity, respect and an appreciative approach
  • contribute to a culture where we speak openly about our practice and learn from both what works and what is challenging.

It is an advantage if you have experience from school, SFO or nature and outdoor pedagogy, but it is not a prerequisite.

What you get with us

As our colleague you get

  • a varied position across the school and the SFO
  • the opportunity to put your pedagogical imprint on activities and learning environments
  • a close collaboration with engaged colleagues
  • lovely children and an active parent collaboration
  • a green profile with room for outdoors, play and movement
