Are you our new pedagogue in the reception team?

Moon House Daycare – a small house with big dreams.

We are looking for a pedagogue who can start on 1 November 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, who is passionate about the good life for children and who wants to become an important part of our reception team, where we welcome the youngest children and their families and create the foundation for a secure start in life at Moon House.

With us, the good life for children includes safety, curiosity, imagination, play and strong relationships. We believe that children develop best when met by attentive adults who are curious about their perspectives and can create environments where there is room for both community, immersion and play.

Pedagogy comes first

In Moon House, pedagogy must be felt in everyday life.

We deliberately work with our learning environments, organization and adult positioning, and we are focused on continuously adjusting our practice to the current group of children.

To create quality with the children, there must also be time with the children. Therefore preparation, reflection and documentation are a planned part of your working time.

We believe that high pedagogical quality is created together. Therefore there must be space for professional discussions, different perspectives and trying something new when we see that the children demand something different.

You will become part of a strong nursery team

As our new pedagogue you will be attached to the reception group, where you will work together with a pedagogue and an experienced assistant pedagogue. You will thus form a strong team around our youngest children and their families.

In our second nursery group there are two pedagogues and an assistant pedagogue, and we highly prioritize collaboration across the groups. We help each other, share our professional perspectives and have a shared responsibility for ensuring daily life runs smoothly for both children and adults.

In the reception group you will have a special role in the child’s and family’s first meeting with Moon House. Here safety, presence and relationships are central. You must be able to notice the child’s small signals, be curious about the individual child and adjust your pedagogical practice to the child’s needs.

At the same time, we see parents as important partners. A good start is not only about the child becoming secure, but also about the family experiencing trust, clarity and an open dialogue with us.

A house with room for everyone

Moon House is a smaller day-care center normed to about 70 children aged 0-6 years.

We are proud of the community and working environment we have created. Here there must be room for everyone, and everyone is equally important. We believe that diversity makes us stronger, and that we succeed best when everyone experiences that their voice and contribution matter.

We emphasize a workplace where we can be professionally ambitious while also getting along well together. We help each other, laugh together and take joint responsibility for the house, also across groups and disciplines.

The house consists of a large shared living room, kitchen and four group rooms. We actively work with our physical and aesthetic learning environments and arrange the house with smaller learning zones that invite children to play, immersion, creativity and community.

Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement.

In Gladsaxe Municipality we have good opportunities for exercise such as fitness, yoga, free access to swimming pools, and a holiday fund where it is possible to rent holiday homes.

The position can be 32-37 hours per week.

We are a workplace that prioritizes flexibility and a good balance between work and private life, among other things by offering the possibility of a 4-day work week.

Salary and employment conditions are according to the applicable collective agreement.

As a trained pedagogue in our day-care houses you receive a permanent Gladsaxe allowance and a seniority allowance after 2 years of uninterrupted employment.

The position is 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours.
