Educator with a Heart for Nursery Life Seeks Position at Sofiegårdens Nursery

The match turned out not to be the right one, so we are reposting the position, and hope we find the perfect fit.

Since one of our pedagogues has chosen a different path, we are seeking a new colleague who can take care of what works well and at the same time help shape the everyday life in our nursery.

We are based in Sofiegården in Christianshavn and have around 43 of the city's loveliest nursery children. We are about 17 engaged and authentic staff who are passionate about nursery life. We are a self-governing institution under Børneringen, where professionalism, presence, humor and community go hand in hand.

With us, we think big about the little ones. We place emphasis on both children's and adults' well-being and plan everyday life so that it supports our pedagogy. At the same time we safeguard presence, relationships and the small moments that help create a safe and meaningful everyday life for both children and adults.

For us, good collaboration is about both professionalism and personality. Therefore we are seeking a colleague who takes responsibility, is curious about their own practice and contributes positively to the community.

The position is 28-30 hours per week. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:45 and are not closed for summer holidays.

As a pedagogue at Sofiegården we expect you to

• be passionate about nursery life and have plenty of humor
• be aware of your pedagogical foundation and be able to articulate your reflections
• be curious about your own practice and eager for continued development
• take responsibility and maintain an overview in daily pedagogical practice
• plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities
• be reliable/present and flexible
• have good collaboration skills.
