Educators for Børnehuset Grantoften

Grantoften Nursery is seeking two nursery teachers for the infant/toddlers. The positions are 37 hours with start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

You are two engaged nursery teachers who see the value in working with planned activities that strengthen the children’s well-being, development and sense of community. You are confident in yourselves and your educational practice. You embrace broadly and enjoy diversity. Your main tasks

• Work on establishing and supporting differentiated play and learning environments that ensure participation opportunities for all children.
• Collaboration with parents about each child’s well-being and development, including holding parent-teacher conversations
• Collaboration, reflection and professional sparring with colleagues and cross-disciplinary partners

Your competences

• You have a caring, present and respectful approach to the children. You naturally keep the child’s perspective in view.
• You find it meaningful to work with the pedagogical learning environment throughout the day, including daily routines.
• You have good collaboration skills with an approachable and positive attitude.
• You reflect on your own and shared practice for own and collective learning and further development.
• You maintain an overview even when things get busy.

Grantoften Nursery is a wonderful nursery with children aged 0-5 years .

We place high emphasis on cooperation between our infant/toddler unit and our preschool unit. We are curious about each other’s practices. With us you become part of a workplace in professional development, including training programs, e.g. in spring 2026, and ongoing cross-disciplinary collaboration.

We are happy to be indoors and outdoors daily, year-round, and we take advantage of the many opportunities for outdoor activities in our local area. For longer excursions we have, in the district, a bus that provides exciting possibilities.

Our meeting time is from 6:10 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. (Fridays to 4:15 p.m.).

Who we are

Grantoften Nursery is part of District Baltorp with a total of seven nurseries. The nurseries are named Kirstinevang, Stjernehuset, Bispevangen, Grantoften, Askelunden, Kornblomsten and Hulahop. Each nursery has one or two educational leaders to manage daily operations. In addition, there is a district leader who, in collaboration with the educational leaders, oversees leadership across the district.

Employment process and salary

The employment date is on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

We will hold interviews as applications come in.

Application deadline: November 9, 2026.

We offer salary and employment conditions in accordance with the collective agreement for educational staff in day care facilities, clubs and leisure schemes in municipalities.

Employment is based on local wage-setting principles and in agreement with the negotiating body.

The salary range for the position as educational staff in a day care facility is 35,803 DKK - 41,894 DKK per month before pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiations between the employer and the trade organization with negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area. Salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
