At Aale Hjortsvang Friplejehjem we are seeking a social- and health care assistant who wants to become part of our everyday life and our team.

For us, good elderly care is both professionalism, presence and relationships . As a social- and health care assistant you will be an important part of the daily care and support for our residents. You should therefore be keen to actively participate in the care and be close to the residents in their daily lives.

Your tasks

As a social- and health care assistant you will, among other things

• participate in the daily care and support for our residents
• take care of various social- and health-related tasks
• observe the residents' condition and respond to changes
• work systematically with health-related issues
• document relevant professional information
• work closely with the home’s nurse and our other social- and health care assistants
• help ensure continuity, quality and coherence in the residents’ care pathways
• contribute your professionalism to the interdisciplinary collaboration with the rest of the house.

You will have the opportunity to undertake various nursing-related tasks in close collaboration with the home’s nurse and the other assistants. We emphasize using each other’s professional skills and helping each other find good solutions.

We are looking for someone who

• is educated as a social- and health care assistant
• is professionally engaged and takes responsibility for your tasks
• wants to work with elderly people and is passionate about elder care
• has a heart in the right place and sees the person behind illness and functional impairment
• can work independently, but also thrives in close collaboration with colleagues
• has good observation and communication skills
• wants to develop professionally and share your knowledge with colleagues
• can contribute to a daily life with good humor, respect and care.

Knowledge of Cura is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you want to learn and develop with us.

Working hours

The position is primarily day shifts combined with occasional evening or night shifts at your request.

The position is about 30-32 hours . Weekend work occurs.
