About the job

In Team HR and Occupational Health, we work every day to create good conditions for leadership, well-being and development. Now we are looking for a new colleague who will help make a difference for our many leaders and employees in Technical and Environment.

Who are we?

Technical and Environment in Aalborg Municipality works to develop and operate an attractive, sustainable and well-functioning municipality. We solve tasks within, among other things, urban development, climate and environment, nature, mobility, as well as road and park operations. With more than 700 employees, Team HR and Occupational Health plays an important role in Technical and Environment.

Team HR and Occupational Health is a central part of the administrative branch Strategy and Leadership Support, which also includes Finance, Legal Department, GIS and Data, and the Director's Secretariat.

You will become part of a small, professionally strong team consisting of 5 colleagues, plus a team leader, where collaboration, sparring and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

We place great emphasis on creating a good, flexible and informal work environment with high ceilings, where everyone thrives.

About the job

We are looking for a colleague who can translate their professional knowledge into practice, build trusting relationships and contribute with both sparring, development and concrete solutions.

You will have a varied daily life with a large contact surface across the organisation and a central role in supporting leaders, employees and the organisation's development.

Your tasks will include

  • facilitate workshops, training and development programs for managers and employees
  • develop and implement HR, occupational health and organizational development initiatives
  • support organizational changes and development processes
  • provide HR professional and personnel-law advice to managers, including handling of complex personnel cases
  • support collaboration in the MED system and the occupational health organisation
  • prepare analyses, notes and decision briefs for management

We imagine you

  • have a relevant educational background in HR, public administration, law or similar
  • have solid experience with the HR field and thrive in the role as advisor and sparring partner for managers
  • have good insight into personnel law, employment law and collective bargaining matters, preferably from a politically governed organisation
  • have experience with facilitation, teaching and organizational development
  • are skilled at translating rules, agreements and strategies into practically applicable solutions
  • thrive in a changing daily workload with many different tasks and stakeholders
  • work independently, take responsibility and at the same time involve relevant collaborators
  • are motivated by collaborating with managers, employees, union representatives and colleagues across the organisation
  • have strong relational competencies and the ability to build trust and constructive collaborative relationships
  • are a competent communicator who can convey complex messages clearly and purposefully
  • are robust and can maintain an overview in complex cases and situations with many considerations
  • are results-oriented and follow tasks and processes through to the end
  • contribute positively to the community and value close collaboration with colleagues and partners

We offer

An exciting and versatile position with the opportunity to make your professional mark on both operations and development. You will become part of a committed team with high professionalism, good camaraderie and an informal tone.

You will have a central role in an organisation with ambitious managers and employees, where HR is a valued partner. At the same time we offer flexible working arrangements, good opportunities for competence development and a workplace where well-being and work-life balance are prioritised.
