ERP & Digital Development Manager for Karstensen Gruppen

Do you have an eye for how ERP systems bind a company together – and are you motivated to create smarter workflows and drive digital development? On behalf of Karstensen Gruppen we are seeking an ERP & Digital Development Manager for an exciting newly created position, where you will play a central role in developing and optimizing the group’s business processes and digital solutions.

You create alignment between business, processes and technology In this role it is crucial that you are sharp on how an ERP system functions as a connected chain across the entire group company. You understand how processes interlink across sales, purchasing, warehousing, production, project management and finance – and how changes in one place can affect workflows and results elsewhere in the organization.

You will have broad independent responsibility for identifying improvement opportunities, optimizing the use of existing systems and driving digital development projects from idea to implementation.

You do not need to be a technical systems developer. What matters is your business understanding and ability to see the whole, identify opportunities and translate them into solutions that create value in practice.

With the companies in Denmark, Poland and Greenland and more than 125 users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will have a broad interface across the group. You will be based at the head office in Skagen and will work closely with the CFO, IT administrator and managers from different business areas.

From business needs to digital solutions As ERP & Digital Development Manager you will be an important driver in ensuring that the group’s ERP systems and digital solutions best support the business.

You will have freedom to take initiative yourself, explore possibilities and drive projects that create better alignment between departments, systems and workflows. An important part of the role will also be to identify how new technologies such as AI, desktop robots and automation can be used to optimize processes and create more efficient workflows across the group.

You must be able to understand the organization’s needs, challenge existing processes and ensure that new solutions are implemented and used in everyday life.

Your primary areas of responsibility will include, among others

• Optimize business processes with a focus on the coherence of the ERP system across the entire group
• Further develop the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across departments and companies
• Drive digital development projects from needs assessment to implementation
• Ensure optimal use and further development of Jobmanager, the group’s time registration system
• Identify potentials for automation and streamlining of administrative processes
• Coordinate collaboration with external system providers and IT specialists
• Ensure training, user training and anchoring of new workflows in the organization

You will thus be the link between business and technology – and the one who ensures that new solutions are not only implemented but also create value in everyday life.

You have business understanding and think in improvements We are looking for a profile with solid understanding of how ERP systems support the company’s overall value chain.

Your educational background could be in IT, economics, business systems or another relevant area. The important thing is that you have the necessary system understanding and the ability to independently drive development and implementation projects.

• Have solid understanding of ERP systems and their use across business processes
• Can see the link between order flow, purchasing, warehousing, production, project management and finance
• Can identify improvement opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives
• Have experience with project management, implementation or process optimization
• Have an interest in digitization, AI and automation
• Can communicate with management, employees and external partners
