About the job

Would you like to help secure the Danish health sector by managing and leading cyber initiatives across the sector and Digital Health Denmark?

Then here is a unique opportunity to make a difference for citizens and the health sector.

A organization on the way to something new

The Danish Health Data Agency will from 2027 be part of Digital Health Denmark together with sundhed.dk, MedCom and a number of common national IT tasks from the regions. Digital Health Denmark will become a nationwide organization that will strengthen digital development and ensure better coherence in the health system.

The organization must ensure a common direction, better use of health data and development of digital solutions that support citizens and health professionals nationwide. The establishment means new colleagues, collaborations and opportunities in a strong professional community

About us

Our Cyber- and Information Security department has three main areas of responsibility and sections. The section you will be employed in is Cyber and Resilience in the Health Sector, where our core areas are working with the cyber and information security strategy as well as resilience and preparedness. The Operational Cyber Security section houses the health sector's operational cyber security unit and the Security Operations Center for Digital Health Denmark.

Last but not least, the Information Security section is responsible for driving and implementing cyber-, information security and resilience in Digital Health Denmark.

Your tasks

If you are passionate about structuring initiatives and coming up with solutions, breaking down strategy into work packages, implementing plans into deliverables and handling various stakeholders and their differences, you now have the opportunity to test and develop your competences. You will work in a broad stakeholder landscape across the health sector and the Health Data Agency.

Your main tasks

  • Take responsibility for your own initiatives and operational tasks and contribute to solving other tasks that strengthen cyber- and information security.
  • Act as a coordinator in a group that handles concrete initiatives and operational tasks across the health sector and internally within the organization.
  • Ensure, together with other coordinators, that tasks are broken down, coordinated and followed up, including on deliverables and deadlines.
  • You will become part of a strong professional environment with exciting tasks, where you get to influence development with cyber- and information security work. This applies both in the organization and in the health sector. You will become part of a department of about 40 employees and leaders, and you will be part of an informal, dynamic and social work environment with committed and skilled colleagues.

Your personal qualifications

You thrive in a busy and cross-disciplinary everyday life, where urgent and unplanned tasks often must be prioritized over other duties, and you are able to work independently. We expect you to be passionate about your field and want to contribute to developing and strengthening the sector and Digital Health Denmark.

In addition, we expect that you

  • Have 2-5 years of experience coordinating or managing IT-related initiatives or tasks, preferably in collaboration with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Have worked in an organizational framework with several simultaneous initiatives, e.g., in a programme or portfolio environment.
  • Have experience with ongoing task management, e.g., via Kanban or similar working methods.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the health care system or experience from a public authority, including understanding of cross-organization collaboration.
  • Work in a structured way and have good communication skills – both orally and in writing – which you use to create overview and momentum in tasks.
  • Have any certificates or training in cyber- and information security. Project management is a plus, but not required.

We offer

We are located in historic surroundings together with Statens Serum Institut, 6 minutes by bike from City Hall Square. We have ample free parking spaces.

The social life is highly valued in the agency, and we have an active staff association with a number of clubs such as a running club and a wine club. There is also a fitness center, gym and tennis court available to employees.

We are not wage leaders, but we protect our working hours, and generally do not expect you to work more than contracted. There is an option to arrange remote work, but we also place high value on presence with colleagues because it provides better conditions for professional sparring, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Salary and employment terms

Appointment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for the education you hold.

As an academic, you are covered by the current Academic Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and academics in the State.

As an HK (Danish: HK) employee you are covered by the collective agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT Employees (HK) and the current general collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations – The State Area (OAO-S General Agreement). The position is placed in pay grade 2 or 3, depending on your qualifications.

There is an opportunity to negotiate a qualification allowance, depending on your competences and qualifications.

Because of the department's access to sensitive information, you should expect to undergo a security clearance process and maintain it throughout the employment. It is expected that shortly after employment you will provide the necessary papers, including a police clearance certificate which may be used for dispensation until the final security clearance.

We operate a smoke-free working environment.
