Requirements for environmental considerations across the many phases of construction place demands on the consulting engineering firm. INGENIØR’NE meets these demands through a strong professional focus in close collaboration between the environmental consultant and the rest of the organization.

Our client, INGENIØR’NE has a solid and strong small team with environmental as primary focus. The strategy is clear and the need is great. Therefore we are seeking an experienced environmental consultant who can contribute with knowledge, professional experience and the desire to participate in the group's development.

As an environmental consultant, you will be based at INGENIØR´NE's offices in Esbjerg or Kolding and work closely with colleagues across disciplines and the company's locations nationwide. You will play a central role in ensuring that environmental considerations and regulatory requirements are integrated in all phases of the project. The work also involves close collaboration with project owners on a wide range of environmental tasks, including environmental permits and environmental remediation.

We are looking for you , who embrace a broad professional scope. The tasks are varied and differ in complexity. Days are not the same, which requires flexibility and collaborative ability. With your skills, and natural curiosity about trends and requirements within the environment, you ensure quality and independent handling of projects. We perform tasks for clients, companies and authorities, including:

• Applications for permits (e.g., environmental approvals, connection, discharge and infiltration permits, EIA screening / EIA assessment, etc.)
• Soil handling plans in collaboration with a subcontractor, including among other things applications for §8 and/or §19 permits in connection with a construction project
• Requesting and assessment of environmental mapping reports as well as preparation of environmental remediation and demolition descriptions for tender
• Resource mapping, selective demolition and sustainability with a view to reuse of building materials
• Assist with environmental technical expertise on the firm’s own cases, for example regarding waste projects, permit applications, reviews, etc.
• Technical assessment regarding waste, air, noise, chemicals and wastewater
• Environmental risk assessment in connection with purchase / sale / lease of properties

• You have a relevant background, e.g., trained as environmental technologist, engineer or other technical education combined with professional experience in the environmental field from, for example, a consulting engineering company or municipality
• You are a visible and hands-on team player with a good overview
• You work independently and in a structured manner
• You thrive in a dynamic environment where tasks can be diverse
• You are outgoing and can have good dialogue with partners/stakeholders
