Professional leader (with a social work background) for Baunegården residential facility

About the position

Baunegården is looking for a professional leader with a social work background who wants to be a central driving force in the development of social-professional practice and the professional foundation at the facility.

As the professional leader you will be part of the department's leadership team and work closely with the department head to ensure high quality in citizen journeys, documentation, professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will have a key role in translating strategies, professional methods and organizational goals into practice and supporting staff in their daily work with citizens.

Your primary tasks

You will among other things have responsibility to

• Ensure and develop the social-professional quality at Baunegården.
• Support staff in the use of social-professional methods and approaches.
• Lead professional development processes, together with your professional leadership colleague for the health-professional area.
• Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives and organizational decisions.
• Qualify documentation and the work with goals, sub-goals and follow-up.
• Facilitate professional discussions, learning processes and reflection spaces.
• Support the work with recovery-oriented rehabilitation.
• Engage in close collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Contribute to the development of the interdisciplinary collaboration across offers and departments.
• Act as a sparring partner for staff and management in professional matters.

We are looking for a colleague who

• Has a relevant social work education, such as social worker or social facilitator.
• Has experience from the social-psychiatry field or the specialized social area.
• Has experience with or interest in professional leadership.
• Has in-depth knowledge of recovery-oriented rehabilitation.
• Can translate theory and methods into concrete practice.
• Is strong in written documentation and professional communication.
• Can create engagement through dialogue, curiosity and professional credibility.
• Works structured and can maintain an overview in complex tasks.
• Is relationship-oriented and motivated to achieve results together with others.

It is an advantage if you have experience with or knowledge of

• Recovery-oriented methods.
• Social-professional documentation and familiarity with management oversight from the Social Supervisory Authority (socialtilsynet).
• Administrative-law framework and relevant law in the specialized social area

About Baunegården

Baunegården is a social-psychiatric residential facility under Skanderborg Communities. The facility targets adults who, due to mental and social challenges, need support and safe structures in daily life. The target group also includes people with an active substance use problem.

Baunegården includes both a longer-term residential facility and offers temporary stays. Support is planned individually based on the person’s needs, resources, wishes and goals. The aim is to support well-being, development and the greatest possible independence in daily life.

Support can involve creating structure and overview, handling daily tasks, strengthening social relations and working with personal goals. When a resident has an active substance use problem, it is included as part of the overall support. The approach is based on the individual’s situation, wishes and possibilities.

The staff collaborate with the resident and relevant relatives and professionals when it is part of the resident's wishes and journey. Baunegården works with a social- and health-professional approach, where relations, involvement and respect for the individual’s life situation are central. The support is based on what is important for the individual and is adjusted continuously in line with needs and development.

The position is 37 hours per week.
