A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Pernille, I am 35 years old and live in Kokkedal. At the beginning of the new year I am moving into my own apartment, and therefore I am looking for a new female disability assistant for my existing assistant team.

I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair. Therefore I need help with almost everything practical in my daily life.

I am a happy girl who loves to laugh, be cozy and have fun. I enjoy shopping, cinema visits, films and series, music and of course spending time with my family.

Sometimes it is also just perfect to take a nap in the wheelchair while an old Danish film runs in the background.

You don’t have to be a great entertainer. I think it is just as important that we can be together without having to talk all the time. We should be able to laugh and joke together, but also just relax in each other’s company.

For me, good chemistry, trust and mutual respect are among the most important things.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a female helper for 24 hours per week.

You will among other things help me with

• Personal care
• Dressing and undressing
• Transfers
• Cooking
• Cleaning and other practical tasks
• Assistance when we are out of the house
• Accompaniment to, among other things, physiotherapy
• The small things I need help with during the day

At home I have a lift for transfers. For physiotherapy there is no lift, so you must be comfortable helping to lift and transfer me manually.

WHO AM I LOOKING FOR?

I am looking for a female helper roughly in the same age as me, who is responsible, flexible, has situational awareness and is positive. Extra plus if you either have a good sense of humor, can laugh at yourself and can handle sarcasm.

🕒 Working hours

As a rule, shifts are Tuesday and Thursday from 09:30 to 21:30. There are no weekend shifts right now, but this can change in the future.

You must be flexible regarding other working hours in case of illness, vacation and shift swaps within the team.

You will, as a disability assistant, be part of a good, flexible and essential team of disability assistants who together cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen’s own home, for leisure activities, social events and excursions the citizen would like to participate in.
