Fleet Coordinator with a flair for IT – are you our new troubleshooter?

Our pilots use Transics, Volvo Connect, and their mobile phones many times every single day. When something is troublesome, they need one person in the office they can call. Someone who answers the phone, takes ownership, and solves the problem. That is you. We have created a new position as fleet coordinator with a knack for IT.

You will be the link between pilots, dispatchers, and administration, and you will take on the tasks that today fall through the cracks. You are not an IT administrator, and we do not expect you to be able to program, but you are the type who does not give up until things work.

You report to our Business Improvement Manager. Together we have about 150 trucks and about 200 trailers and a whole fleet of pilots who expect the equipment to work.

Your responsibilities and tasks

· Ownership of the systems the pilots use daily: Transics, Volvo Connect, and mobile phones, setup, operation, maintenance, and fault resolution.

· A fixed point of contact for the pilots when IT fails. You take the call, find the solution, and follow up until it works.

· Training of new pilots in the daily use of Transics, Volvo Connect, and telephone.

· IT-savvy for colleagues at the Onsild and Fårbæk offices, contact with external IT suppliers, and IT procurement of phones and equipment.

· Checking waybills, logbooks, and scans of completed transports so that orders are ready for invoicing.

· Recording deviations and irregularities and proposals for how we avoid them next time.

· Reporting on fuel consumption and diesel optimization as part of our "fit for fight" strategy.

· Troubleshooter for tasks that fall between departments. You take the ball instead of passing it on.

· Be involved in digitizing and simplifying our workflows, including in connection with upgrading our ERP system.

· Your workplace will be in both Onsild and Faarbæk where you are needed.

We imagine that you

· Have a flair for IT and enjoy figuring out how things fit together. An IT education is not required.

· Have experience in a support function.

· Are used to administrative work and proficient in Excel.

· Are service-minded and patient and can explain technology so that everyone understands it.

· Take ownership and make decisions. When you say "I’ll take care of it", it happens.

· Thrive with many balls in the air and a daily life where no two days are alike.

· Can interact in English and preferably German.

· Want to learn new things and share your knowledge with colleagues.

· Have a good sense of humor and an outgoing personality.
