The job at Esbjerg Friplejehjem

You will become an important part of the residents' daily life.

You contribute to residents experiencing safety, presence and high quality in care, while also engaging in close collaboration with colleagues, relatives and our nurses.

Your tasks will include

• provide holistic care and support for the residents
• observe changes in the residents' well-being and health status
• work with documentation and health-related tasks
• contribute to rehabilitative and person-centered care
• create meaningful activities and good experiences in everyday life
• collaborate with relatives and other professional groups
• contribute to a safe and well-functioning evening shift

We want employees who can work independently as well as contribute actively to the community.

• is educated as a social and health care assistant or social and health care helper

Esbjerg Friplejehjem

Esbjerg Friplejehjem opened in 2023, and we are still shaping the workplace and culture we want to be. Many of the traditions, workflows and activities that characterize the house today were created by the employees themselves. Therefore you not only get a job with us – you get the opportunity to put your own mark on both everyday life and the development of our nursing home.

We aim to create a good working life where high quality in care goes hand in hand with the well-being and balance of employees in everyday life.

We have space for 60 residents and are operated by Danske Diakonhjem, which is a non-profit organization with a strong value base.

We work with the resident at the center and start from each individual's wishes, needs and life story. Therefore we go to great lengths to create a daily life with presence, activity and community.

We have our own kitchen, where meals are prepared from scratch, and we prioritize the togetherness around meals. At the same time we have good facilities for activities, events and gatherings with residents' family and friends.

Salary and terms of employment

• 28 - 32 hours per week
• Start date 01.11.26 or as soon as possible thereafter
• Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement between KL and FOA
