As an educational leader you enter an exciting and varied role, where everyday life is filled with many different tasks – a daily life where you move between being in pedagogical practice with children and staff, administrative tasks, cross-disciplinary collaboration and managing building-related tasks. In Børnehaven Ridemandsmøllevej you will lead an amazing staff group that is focused on further developing pedagogical practice and creating high quality with participation opportunities for all children.

Your key tasks as educational leader at Ridemandsmøllevej will be

• To support the shared pedagogical direction based on ICDP and NEST, including supporting the daily structure and organization as well as a strong culture of evaluation.
• To create follow-through through clear expectations, shared responsibility and engagement in the core task.
• To support a culture characterized by psychological safety.

Your new workplace

Børnehaven Ridemandsmøllevej is a kindergarten normed for 40 children aged 3-6 years distributed across two age-integrated rooms. The kindergarten is located next to Lyngbjerggaardskolen in Godthåb in the middle of a strong local area with beautiful nature, a sports field, etc., within walking distance.

In Børnehaven Ridemandsmøllevej we are committed to present relationships and to creating developing learning environments that inspire children to play. We work to create a more uniform pedagogical approach to daily structure and learning environments in order to ensure predictable frameworks around the children.

You will be part of the leadership team in Dagtilbud Svenstrup, which consists of 10 pedagogical leaders and a day-care manager. You will be assigned an experienced leadership colleague as a mentor, and you will be part of a committed collaboration focused on creating the best frameworks for all day-care children, families and staff.

In Dagtilbud Svenstrup all institutions work from ICDP and NEST. Through our NEST program, we have sharpened our shared focus on participation opportunities for all children through work with, among other things, visual support systems and the adult facilitating developing learning environments both indoors and outdoors. We have two intervention pedagogues who continuously support this right out in practice.

As an educational leader you will have the opportunity for ongoing professional and personal development, including a diploma in Leadership.

• You thrive in a daily life with many different tasks and can prioritise among them.
• You want to step into an older institution and help preserve and refine its existing culture and traditions.

Salary and employment terms

The leadership position is covered by the pre-agreement on Local pay based on pay grade 44. Other terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement between KL and BUPL.

Prior to final employment, a police and child protection check as well as references will be obtained.
