Make a difference for children with special needs – Educator sought for the C-track at Skovlyskolen

About the job

We are looking for an engaged pedagog for our youngest student group in the C-track at Skovlyskolen.

The C-track is a specially designed educational program for children and young people from 0th to 9th grade with general learning difficulties as the primary challenge. For some students, cognitive difficulties are combined with other challenges, and common to the target group is the need for a special educational approach, clear structure and strong relationships. The classes are small, and there are always several adults around the students.

The position includes tasks in both the school part and the after-school part. In addition to the daily work with the students, you will be responsible for documentation, parent collaboration and the role of contact child in close cooperation with the team’s teachers and pedagogues.

Your profile

We are seeking a trained pedagogue, preferably with experience in the special needs field or eager to develop within the special educational field. You are professionally grounded, structured and reflective in your practice. At the same time you are patient, present and focused on creating good development and learning opportunities for all children. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and parents, have strong relationship skills and actively contribute to the school’s community.

In collaboration with your colleagues you manage to create meaningful learning environments with clear structures and predictability, where students experience safety, opportunities to participate and success. Most importantly, you meet the children with a positive view of children, good humor and a fundamental belief that all children can develop and succeed.

Employment terms

The position is full-time and with permanent employment. The working hours are located in both the school part and the after-school part. Start date by agreement, but no later than January 1, 2027.

Interviews will be held in week 48.

About us

Skovlyskolen is a two-track public school with both C-track and E-track. The C- and E-tracks have about 120 students from 0th to 10th grade. Common to our students is that they require extensive special education and a special pedagogical approach. Our work is based on strong relationships, clear structure, professional ambition and close collaboration between school and home.
