Job Description & Summary

Would you like to step into the role of consultant and work with corporate acquisitions, divestitures and integrations? And would you like to learn how companies and investors create value before, during and after a transaction?

So become a graduate in PwC’s Deals Carve-out & Merger Integration team (Delivering Deal Value) and help advise companies through some of their most complex changes. Here you will have a wealth of opportunities, a high level of expertise and a strong sense of community, which ensures that you develop professionally and personally. You will gain experience across different business areas, giving you a broad understanding of the relevant processes in connection with corporate transactions.

Your development is supported by PwC’s graduate program

On September 1, 2027 your 2-year graduate program in our Deals department starts. Here you and the other graduates begin with a thorough introduction to PwC, the team and the tasks that lie ahead. As a graduate you will be permanently employed in the department, and we ensure you are well prepared for the role of consultant through knowledge sharing, tailored course programs and practical experience.

As part of the graduate program we also ensure that you bond well on your onboarding trip, at networking events and on tasks - both internally in Deals and across the firm.

Work in PwC Deals

As a graduate in Deals you become part of a young and dynamic department of more than 110 skilled colleagues. Here you will work with several aspects of corporate acquisitions and divestitures and learn how you can provide valuable advice to decision-makers in both private equity funds and companies.

PwC Deals consists primarily of three different areas of expertise, which you choose in advance and stay in throughout the program: Transaction Services, Valuation and Modelling as well as Delivering Deal Value. Each area handles interactions with sellers, buyers and other potential stakeholders depending on the transaction phase, complexity and the needs that arise during the process.

Right now there is only open for applicants to our Delivering Deal Value team. If you are interested in applying to Transaction Services or Valuation & Modelling, you can apply in January/February, when they go live with their postings:

  • Delivering Deal Value: Get hands-on experience with some of the largest and most complex M&A transactions on the Danish market. We help companies and private equity funds plan and execute integrations and carve-outs so they realize the value of their transactions. You will be involved in projects ranging from carve-out due diligence to Day 1 preparations and execution of integration and separation programs. Along the way you gain insight into how companies are integrated, separated and transformed as part of M&A transactions.

A good community and great colleagues

At PwC you become part of a market-leading company where we do things properly. Here you will have the opportunity to enter a powerhouse of knowledge that you will have ample opportunity to soak up.

PwC Deals is one of Denmark’s leading M&A advisers, where we combine expertise with a strong sense of community. As part of our team you not only have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and complex transactions, but also to develop in an environment characterized by collaboration and shared ambitions.

At the same time you will have your own career coach to bounce ideas off – also when you continue your career at PwC after the program.

Teamwork is a core value for us, and you can look forward to working with fantastic colleagues in your new team. At the same time you will be part of a larger community with graduates from all over PwC, whom you will get to know well through the events we continually invite you to.

Are you finishing your master’s degree and ready for the next step?

As long as you (soon) have a relevant master’s degree, e.g., cand.merc.FIR, FIN, FSM, cand.polit., cand.oecon. or similar, and are ready to learn a lot, we will prepare you well for the rest.

With us you go far with curiosity - both towards your new colleagues, tasks and our clients. But it is also important that you are proactive, good at building relationships and see the task solution as a team effort. At the same time you thrive in a dynamic everyday life, and you are interested in the consultant role in due course.

Ready to kickstart your career?

…then apply via the link. If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Talent Attraction Advisor, Helena Holmberg Fjord at [email protected].

Application deadline: October 18. We screen continuously – so apply today rather than tomorrow!
