Disability helper sought for my team in Glamsbjerg

I am a sweet and active young girl aged 19 with severe cerebral palsy, so I need someone who is my hands and feet.

Disability helper aged 25-40 sought – female applicants preferred. It is important to me that we have good chemistry and a fun relationship with lots of humor.

• You must have a driverc license and a car, as I live in the countryside, and there are no buses going to me.
• You must be willing to help me with all that I need.
• You must be able to be a fly on the wall and come when I call you
• You may sleep during the night shift. You just need to be able to wake up immediately when I call and be ready to help me.
• You must be tolerant, curious, empathetic and calm
• You must be reliable and turn up on time (as I rely on you)
• You must be flexible and willing to help your colleagues when they are sick or need to swap a shift
• You must be able to tolerate cats, as we have two cats
• You must be part of the family

It is an advantage if someone in the helper team

• Are good at cooking
• Are good at doing/applying nail polish
• Have interests in music, film, motor racing
• Have the possibility to accompany me on holidays

You are on a solo shift with me, but you also become part of a helper team, where you sometimes meet for staff meetings.

You will be employed on a fixed 30-hour week. There will be shifts on weekends, holidays, Christmas and New Year.

You will be remunerated under the collective agreement for unskilled disability helpers.

You must be able to start as soon as possible and see yourself in the job for at least a year.

Little about me

I am a wheelchair user and cannot walk or stand. So I need you to do the things I cannot. For example:

• Shopping and cooking
• Dressing and undressing
• Bathing and personal care
• Using the toilet
• Nail polish and doing my hair and styling it
• Driving in my accessible van
• Clothes washing
• Cleaning my room, bathroom, as well as vacuuming and mopping parts of the house I live in
• Other daily tasks

I live with my family (mother, father and brother). I attend STU in Odense every weekday.

I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I go to motor racing events several times a year, I go to the cinema and to concerts. I shop a lot and go on cozy cafe trips, to parties, etc.
