About us

We are a professionally proud workplace that produces and delivers food to around 1300 citizens in Svendborg and Langeland Municipality. Our team consists of executive chefs, professional bachelor graduates, nutrition assistants, drivers and HK staff - all with the common goal of delivering the best service to our customers. We specialize in producing homemade chilled/vacuum-finished meals using high-quality ingredients. We work according to LEAN principles where efficiency and innovation are among our core values.

We actively work on implementing ecology and focusing on food waste and sustainability and continuously develop our menus as well as offers to our customers.

The workday varies always due to our diverse tasks and no two days are the same.

Who are you

You can build good relationships with colleagues across all professional groups here at Det Gode Madhus. You have a positive approach to tasks, are proactive and eager to learn.

You love cooking and are good at engaging in team collaboration and take partial responsibility for your own education.

You are either currently in progress with the 2nd basic course or have completed the 2nd basic course.

Salary and employment

Your apprentice wage follows the applicable collective agreement and depends on your age. If you are under 25, starting wage is 13,071.00 DKK per month, rising to 14,505.42 DKK per month in the last year of the education. If you are 25 or older, you receive adult apprentice wage of 25,489.29 DKK per month. Pension is provided according to the applicable collective agreement and depends on the specific apprentice education.

Employment is conditional on a satisfactory and up-to-date criminal record. The criminal record must be brought if you are called for an interview. In addition, documentation of your schooling and/or other relevant education is to be brought along.

We expect to hold interviews in week 48.
