Head of Urban Strategy and Chief Advisor on Urban Strategy

Do you want to set the direction for how Denmark's third-largest city develops – and see the strategy become tangible changes in the city?

Odense has moved from a large Danish city to a Danish metropolis. Thomas B. Thriges Gade has become a new district, the light rail binds the city together, and Vollsmose is in the process of becoming an integrated part of Odense. With the vision of a metropolitan city with consideration, the city council has set the course. Now it's a matter of turning the coming urban strategy's tracks into reality!

As head of City Strategy you will have the professional responsibility for Odense's City Strategy, lead concrete urban-strategy projects and head a team of 8 dedicated city strategists with great professional pride. You work with a short path to top management and in close collaboration with the professional administrations, municipal companies and the city's actors.

We are looking for a leader with solid urban-strategy expertise and proven experience in driving complex projects. You are visionary and execution-strong, clear and unifying, and you dare to make decisions and point to consequences - also upwards.

Are you passionate about urban development? Can you hold fast to the long, tough haul and at the same time create momentum here and now? Then you should apply for the position.
