About the job

Do you want to be where everything comes together – and where your contribution makes a real difference for patients every day?

We are restructuring and preparing for the tasks that come with regional mergers, reorganisations, health reform and relocation, therefore we are increasing the secretariat staff. We are seeking an engaged and positive medical secretary/SAK on 37 hours (with possibility of other hours) to the Department of Geriatric Diseases and Citizen-Centered Health, where your primary workplace will be in Køge. Until the end of 2026 we will be called the Department of Elderly and Metabolic Diseases, after which we officially change to our new name.

Visions

Our vision is that the health administrative functions develop so they continue to be the coordinated and unifying link in our patient pathways. This applies to both outpatient functions and on the wards. Especially in the outpatient area, the pathways are changing to more need-driven pathways and virtual treatment contacts, which requires rethinking how we contact patients, and how we coordinate the pathways.

You will become part of a strong professional community where collaboration, quality and development are in the centre – and where you play an important role in ensuring good and coherent patient pathways.

What can you look forward to?

With us you get not just a job – you get a day-to-day with variety, responsibility and meaning:

  • A versatile workday, where tasks span a wide range and no day is the same
  • Working hours in the daytime – with room for balance between work and leisure
  • A strong secretariat team
  • Close collaboration with doctors, nurses and other professional groups – you are a key person in the patient's pathway
  • Influence on the whole process – from invitation and patient contact to registration and
  • quality assurance
  • Good opportunities for both professional and personal development
  • A workplace in constant development with focus on innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Thorough onboarding at your own pace

We imagine that you

  • Are trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator
  • Have experience with the Health Platform
  • Thrive with changes
  • Have knowledge of both outpatient work and wards
  • Have an eye for quality and coherence in patient pathways
  • Take responsibility and actively contribute to both professional development and a good working environment
  • Communicate clearly, friendly and professionally
